Bidirectional GaN
Bidirectional GaN is a dual side switching devices which can conduct current from D to S or vice versa. This device can replace 4 of the same Rdson Power Mosfet, SiC FET or IGBT in many back to back application with higher efficiency, lower component count and lower system cost.
4kW Totem-pole PFC GaN Evaluation Platform
The TDTTP4000W066C 4kW bridgeless totem-pole power factor correction (PFC) evaluation board achieves very high-efficiency single-phase AC-DC conversion. Using a dsPIC along with Renesas' GaN FETs in the fast-switching leg of the circuit results in improved performance and efficiency.
